Please check back soon for website update, now that I have transferred to the high school. Thank you for your patience.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching 7th and 8th grade World Languages and English as a Second Language. Students in both 7th and 8th grade have the opportunity to learn Spanish and German for the entire school year, for 40-minute class periods, twice a cycle. Students can continue their language studies in the high school to better prepare them to compete globally in our ever-increasingly diverse nation. Please see the course information outlines to view a more detailed description of the curriculum for both grades.
I am a Berks county native and attended Kutztown University to earn my bachelors of education in 1996. I also attended the Universidad de Cádiz in Cádiz, Spain. This was one of the most valuable and memorable experiences of my life. I later continued my education at Kutztown University to earn my masters degree in June 2000 and my certification to teach English as a Second Language.
Because of my profound passion of world languages, I strive to encourage my students to appreciate and respect the various cultures and languages spoken in our ever-changing world today. I hope to encourage life-long learning for all students.
